Adjusting potentiometers for the stepper motors

Can any one suggest a suitable screwdriver to adjust the voltage on the stepper motors, my clock ones are all too large and the plastic ones supplied by Velleman don’t fit the cross slots in the pots. Can you also advise me which war you turn the pot to decrease the voltage. Thank you.

clockwise increases the voltage. they only need the slightest turn- 1 deg at a time. what readings are you getting ?
it’s nearly impossible to adjust them and hold a volt meter on the test pin.
it is possible to power down and remove them and like me use a magnifying glass and small metal screwdriver. make sure you dont reinsert them upside down.

I ran a wire with a clip on the end from the negative pole of the blue connector.

Anticlockwise decreases voltage (sorry misread post). It’s so easy to think it’s turning when it it’s not. With a magnifying glass you can at least see the cross slot has rotated. You don’t have to remove the stepper driver. You can adjust live with a metal jeweler’s screwdriver but you’ve got to be super careful.
