Adjusting offset

I have Some trouble to adjust the offset.
When i connect The red wire on THE test pin The lowest value is 1 volt and not 0.00

When I measure R1 and R2 both are 10ohm and not 2,2

What is the value displayed on the screen after this procedure:

 • Connect the test leads together.
 • Press the Menu button.
 • Use the down arrow button to scroll down to “Measure”.
 • Use the right arrow button to select “Vdc”.
 • Press the Menu button to return to the oscilloscope display.
 • Now adjust the Offset trimmer RV2 until the displayed value is 0.00V.

After this procedure is the value on the test pin:
1.44v, not contious (between 1,38v and 2.13v)

Very strange result.

What value is displayed in the last step of this procedure:

 • Connect the test leads together.
 • Press the Menu button.
 • Use the down arrow button to scroll down to “Measure”.
 • Use the right arrow button to select “Vdc”.
 • Press the Menu button to return to the oscilloscope display.
 • Now adjust the Offset trimmer RV2 until the displayed value is 0.00V.

Can you adjust the offset trimmer until the value displayed is 0.00V ?

Is the trace stable and in the middle of the screen?
When I measure R1 and R2 both are 10ohm and not 2,2
What is the color code on these resistors?

The resistors color red red gold Braun white

First thing straight:
Are there more ways to calibrate?

 • test leads together 0v
 • 9v battery (8.6v) -> 8.59v
 • TEST pin 1.31v
- test leads together 0v

 • 9v battery (8.6v) -> 8.59v
 • TEST pin 1.31
These results are OK.

It seems that your EDU08 is properly calibrated.

Thats means the manual is wrong?
The test pin Will be 0v
Thats means the manual is wrong?
Can you please elaborate on the issue.

This is what you should see on the screen when the red lead is connected to the test pin:
