ABS Printing does not work at all

OK, now that I’ve successfully printed something that looks good with PLA, I’ve give a try with ABS but… The extruder got stuck !
It has begun to “print” but the ABS did not get fixed into the build platform at all (it was just OK with PLA at the previous print) but worst of all, after 2-3 minutes of “not printing” but just making a kind of a spagetti-ball near the extruder, it stopped to get anything out at all…
I had to unmount the noozle then get backt o PLA then while heating at more than 260°C pusshing the PLA to force ABS get out… after more of an hour trying I succeed on getting PLA flowing again, then I get back to PLA printing…

But… Is there something “special” to know about ABS printing that is not in the manual (in fact there is nothing specific about ABS in manual) ???

Printing ABS after PLA is always tricky because the PLA left in the nozzle after unloading it is burnt by the higher temperature when uploading the ABS.
Print PLA at 190° and ABS at 220° max.
In the Wiki you can find a few tricks to print successfully with ABS (I’m printing exclusively with ABS and I have very good results).

Thankyou raby, I was doing all wrong : room temperature 10°C, too hot noozle (245°C), too much flow (90%), … and no adhesive neither heating platform… I’ll review all that things and try again, later…
