Hey.
I have been working on 3d printable rebound exo-frames for the last 10 years, with the last two years focused on 3d design and 3d printing.
Two years ago I purchased my first 3d printer. This happened to be the Velleman k8200. I was fortunate enough to purchase it off someone who was selling it in tuned up to perfection, (all stock) condition.
My background is 3d art, which I have been doing for twenty years. The 3d printer allowed me to leverage my 3d design experience into a real-world working prototype. As someone who hadn’t had any experience with 3d printers before, I found it very much worry free, with the forums, online documentation and internet answering any questions I had. The only troubles I had where created by my own clumsiness, ripping out the thermistor wires while clearing a clog. Yeah. Time to learn soldering, yay. But it worked out, with the printer delivering solid prints day in and day out.
So thanks Velleman, for an affordable, reliable printer.
Should you be curious as to what I printed;
Cheers!
