24V through extruder board

Hi

Would it be a problem to run 24V through the extruder board “P8400EXTED’TW” ?

Best regards

Question is where : there are many inputs. And why?

At the same inputs as where the 12V is running, so the 24V would be instead of the 12V.
As of why. To make the system run 24V instead of 15V/12V. Upgrade the heater cartridges and fan, add a heat bed. Also replace the main board with a Smoothieboard.

As long as your not draining more power there shouldn’t be any problem. If you’re using them, you’ll have to raise the resistance in series with the leds.

Ahh, good point. Thanks raby
Time to see how much I can remember from my physics lessons back in the days
