I am still assembling my printer
When I get to “012 – MOUNTING THE Z & X END STOPS”
There is a diagram in the book on how to attach the ADJUST SCREW BRACKET with the word “WRONG” in red printed over it but there doesn’t appear to be a photo of the the correct way to do this
Does this just mean the long M3 crew with M3 nut and M3 toothed washer needs to be screwed in from below and not down from above ?
tks

Yes, exactly.
In the stock config the head of the screw faces down, so it has a bigger area to hit the microswitch.
But that is not the best design…
Look on thingiverse for a better Z endstop solution.
I use this at the moment : thingiverse.com/thing:400280

You’ll get better accuracy and repeatability if the screw contacts the microswitch as close to the plunger as possible, rather than way out along the lever. This really only matters on the Z axis.
That’s why i suggested the z endstop mod. The lever is completely removed.
cheers,
Christian
I will try this - traveling at the moment
Tks again for support

Nice to hear!
Happy Printing!
