Last year I bought a MK130 kit and I had trouble to weld on your PC board. I had to discard it. Now I just received two other MK130 kits and I’m still having trouble to weld on your PC board and I’m about to discard another kit. Usually I have no problems to weld on PC board, I use a 30W soldering iron and I even tried with a 60W on your PC board but I’m still having trouble to do good welding. Please help me. Hope I’ll have a Christmas tree this year.

Thx for building and using our kits.
The only thing that was changed is that the PCB are not thin-plated anymore.
Everything must be “lead-free”, the “new” thin-plated layers doesn’t have enough shelftime so we are using a flux coated pcb. Normally just heat the PCB a little more before soldering.
