I turn on the VU meter, and green LEDs on the left remain lit.

Sorry, the quality of the pictures does not allow us the exact cause of the problem, however, the soldering looks quite poor.
We’d recommend to check each individual soldering and make sure they do not touch eachother where they should not touch.
Also, you did not supply a picture of the component side?
