VM8095 and its Display

Hello,
I’ve built the VM8095 MP3 kit, up to the point where I’d like to add the display. I have a PC1602WRS-KWA-E with Ribbon cable, but there is no adaptor for this on the board. Help! Is there an adaptor available to fix this to the slot?
I’m pretty much a beginner, so simple instructions please!
Many thanks in advance -

In the VM8095 there is no need for the adaptor.

If you have K8095, then please see page 5 of the manual how to get the LCD adaptor.

Ooops just found the adaptor to the ribbon connector in the kit. Yes it is the K and not the VM.
Looks all set, will set it up as soon as I get some time.
Thanks

Hi, I have the VM8095 MP3 player and want to swap the standard LCD screen with a larger one - I have the correct screen now, but was just wondering what the ribbon cable that connects to the vm8095 board is called, and where I could get one that fits?

The connection on the current cable seems a lot smaller than any 16 pin serial cable connections I’ve seen, so is it a special one for vm8095?

The cable is a fixed part of the LCD module.
Here are the specifications for the connector on the PCB:
