Could a tri-color LED such as this be used in place of the three LED’s in the VM141 kit?
If so, would we need common cathode or common anode configuration? Thanks 
… or would something like this work better?
Led are common anode, however, we cannot guarantee the circuit will work in a reliable way if you replace the leds.
