What is the current consumption (mA) in stand-by mode for the VM109 receiver.
In the documentation it says “power supply: 9 to 12V AC or DC / 100mA max.” but 100mA must be with the relays “active” and I wonder what the current consumption is in stand-by mode with relays not activated.
The reason for asking is that I will use the VM109 in an application where I have limited power resources and I want to be able to have the receiver in standby mode for more than 1 month without emptying the battery.
I will use the receiver to switch on and off lights on my boat. When it’s dark and I come near the boat I want to be able to switch on the lights. When on, I don’t care on power consumption since the lights consumes so much morecompared to the receiver, but when the boat lays in the harbor for weeks with no lights on I want to know that the remote cntrl receiver is not emptying the batteries. If current consumption is 100mA it means that it’s 15 Ah / week which is to much
