How can one prevent the VM 130 to react to the preset code?
Erase memory of receiver (see manual for how-to instructions)
Change code of transmitter.
Learn transmitter to receiver.

But manual says if one clears the memory, VM 130 will than respond to the default code only.
So how can one remove the default code from memory?

after clearing the memory VM 130 still reacts to the default code. Only after learning a new code, it forgets the default code.
I think the manual has to be corrected.
You are correct, once the memory is cleared, it responds to the default code.
Therefore I’ve mentioned that you should clear the memory and learn a new transmitter.
