Velleman-kit K4306 VU Meter LED Please Help

I have built the K4306 kit managing to get 3/4 of it working. The right channel is working fine but only the green lights work on the left channel, no orange or reds. Checked all the usual such as supply, polarity, shorts, soldering, jumpers but there is no obvious problem. If I change the IC’s around the fault is still there meaning all 6 IC’s are fine correct?

Would really love some support with this, was going on the front of my first htpc!

Hi,

You may want to look closely at D7 and D8.
Cold solder joints, broken traces and polarity.

Just a guess

Thanks for the reply, I wish one was the wrong way but checked all 9 diodes and the zenerdiode with no luck. Any other ideas?
