Hi everybody im new to the forums and not all clued up with electronics so need a little bit of help, ill give you a run down of my goal and what ive done so far.
Basically ive bought a remote central locking module with remote key and im trying to wire it so that when i press the lock button it locks the doors then deadlocks and activates the alram, so far i have located and identified all the wires, wired the module up so that it locks but the deadlock requires a pause before it turns on. This is a bit tricky to explain but ill give it a go, there are 2 main wires to the central locking 1 yellow which is the lock wire and a white which is the unlock wire, when the key is turned to lock the door the yellow lock wire becomes 12v live when the door is then unlocked the power to the yellow wire then cuts off.
so now for the tricky part when the doors are deadlocked you have to turn the key counter clockwise then clockwise this then activates the central locking then once the doors lock a 12v pulse is then sent through the deadlock lock wire to activate, once locked the deadlock lock wire is no longer live.
so what i wanted to do is try to modify the mk111 component so that when the central locking becomes live the 12v power supply delays for a second or 2 before it sends a pulse through to the dead lock wire, i only want it to pulse the once then cut off completely is there a way of doing this with the mk111 or do i need a different bit of kit.
any help with this would be great even if its a different kit or something i have to make up myself.
