i can’t get to recognize it code 40 window own fault code, could someone please help.

But somewhere along the way there was some kind of error that had “40” inside of its description? When exactly did this error occur?
You mention all kinds of OS’es and flavors (windows 7/8 32/64 bit = 4 OS’s), so which one are you using?
window-8 64bit its when i plug in the usb cable i get the green/red windows indicate: the last usb device you plug plug in malfunctioned and windows does not recognize it.
and if i now go into device manager under other ports : port_0001.hub_003 windows has stopped this device as it reported problems code 40

Please return your controller board to the shop and ask for a replacement (under warranty).
spoke to electronic space, they are saying i must send it straight throw to you guys…
Most shops should have the controller boards in stock, so hopefully the replacement won’t take long
I had the same thing due to bad soldering at the USB socket on the board
