I too bought one of these some years ago, but never fitted it. as i am now redoing the wiring of my car, i thought i would fit the built kit.
but before i fit it i want to know that it works and as my car has only three connections from wiper switch to wiper motor i need to determine which is which.
upon re reading the manual there are several things that are not mentioned.
The circuit diagram shows two sets of 1-2-3-4 connections, but the switch has 1-2-3-4-5-6 etc as well as A-B-C, these are soldered to the board; but not mentioned in the circuit diagram.
The manual states that there are three time lengths, but is not clear on how this is achieved with a 12 position switch?
With 12v applied and the switch fully counter clockwise, everything is off; at turning the first click (of 12) the led lights but nothing else happens.
Nor does anything else happen when the switch is turned to any other position, apart from 6 when the led goes out again; it comes back on again when turned to 7.
at no time is there any action from either of the two relays.
i will be rechecking all the connections, as anyone can make a mistake, but i do feel that the circuit diagram could be better; show what all connected items are.
