I have a HPS40 I have downloaded the screen capture software and I have installed an RS232~USB in order to get the signal to my PC, the scope is set to binary but the message on the capture software shows ‘binary not active on HPS40’ can anyone advise please. I bought this scope for work with the sole intention of uploading images.

Many in the PC industry have bastardised RS-232 to use 0V (for logical 1) and 5V (for logical 0) signal levels, rather than the proper -3V to -15V (logical 1) and +3V to +15V (logical 0) levels.
