PSCU1000 Bad voltage reading

Hi,

I am quite new to the world of electronics and purchased the PSCU1000 to gain an insight into some of my recent projects. Having experimented with the unit the last couple of nights i have noticed that when measuring a voltage source the readout appears to report much lower than it should.

For example, when testing circuit with a supply voltage of 11.69V (according to my voltmeter) the scope reports only 3.04V.

Results are the same with either scope, at 1x or 10x, and seemingly any volt/div or time/div. I’ve calibrated the scope successfully, and checked the probes using the square wave test output on the back of the unit. Perhaps someone can tell me what voltage the scope should read from the square wave test output.

This cant be right, am i doing something stupid here?

The calibration output should indicate 1.6Vrms
Do you get the same result on both channels ?

Yes, same result on both channels. The voltage seems to scale consistently too, always approximately a quater of the actual voltage.

I will have to check the calibration output when i get home from work this evening and report back what voltage it reads.
