Psc 500 with usb to parallel converter

i have the following problem:

i have bought the psc 500 but i don’t have a lpt port at my laptop.
So i bought a cable usb to lpt.
but the software of the psc500 lab 2000 doesn’t see the psc500.
Any one also have this probleme?

Unfortunately, this unit does not operate with a USB to parallel converter, you need a real parallel port.
PCSU1000 features a USB interface.
