I have problems with the PIC programmer K8076.
16F630 is Only to provide data.
Other types such as 16F84A and 16F628A I get the message: “ERROR writing to pic”
I use Windows XP
Hardware delay on “slow”.
Hardware datalines test is OK.
All necessary voltages.
Is the serial port OK ? (no USB routed port ?)
Hardware should be OK because the data lines test is OK
Cable connections ?[/quote]
Everything is alright, i use the serial port.
Cable connection is also OK.
With an older pc I tried it today.
Now also works 16F628A.
16F84 I get a message from “No supported, wrong connected pic or no iD’s availble”
and “the settings don’t match the pic in…”
Maybe it’s because you can choose only 16F84A and not 16F84??
Another question: types such as 16F631, 16F636, 16F639 etc. have a yellow check mark.
these types can be used? Maybe with other software or more extensive software?
The PIC16F84A is not the same as the old 84 type, it’s a complete other chip (internally).
PIC with a yellow mark are implemented but where not tested by us.
