I bought a HPS10 a year ago but hadn’t odserved it had no serial-232 connection capabilities. Therefore I put it aside until now when I need it for another project. My problem is that I can’t get it started ! I have a fresh 3 V CR 2032 connected ( 5 new 1,5 AA LR6 batteries installed) but I don’t know how to measure the proper volt value 2.98 volts. I have checked the value with another volt meter. Can somebody give me a tip how to get it working. Have read the manual a couple of times.

Is the unit defective or are you having a problem with how to measure a DC voltage?
