i brought the pic programmer today so i then built it. to my amazment that everyones having trouble, mine worked perfectly first time. this is my question…
can pics only be programed up to 1000 times or is just a big number used. is it unlimited times
This is depending on type and can be found in the datasheet. see microchip.com.
If there is nothing going wrong with your hardware, a controller can be used many many times.

thank you for the information and it sound like everyone is having the same problem. that is why i thought it was a board problem. sorry
