PCSGU250/PCLAB2000LT Faulty?

Hi,

I recently bought a PCSGU250/PCLAB2000LT.

I am concerned that when I sample the signal generated I do not get what I would expect, i.e. a 10Vpp square wave with a 5V offset becomes what appears to be a +/-5V square wave!!

Reducing the duty cycle value does make things a bit better but then the pulse length isn’t correct obviously.

Do I have a faulty unit?

Please respond quickly as I had to wait a fair amount of time before getting the unit in the first place.

Regards,

Paul

How high load do you have at the generator output or is this open output value?
If you haven’t downloaded the latest software update v1.03 from Velleman downloads site, please download and install it. It gives somewhat higher power to the generator output.

This is the link to the download site:
velleman.be/be/en/download/files/

that seems to have cured the problem

i guess i will have to keep my eye out for updates
