Pcs10

Please advise if DCS10 can be used to check/monitor current up to 500A?
Thanks.
If no, please advise other alternative.
Thanks.

If you are referring to a direct current (DC) and not an alternative current (AC) and if you have a suitable shunt that converts 0-500A in a voltage that is within the specs of this instrument then this could work. Sorry, we do not carry shunts.

Please advise how can I alter the samples per second value? I read that the maximum is 100/s. So if there is a maximum, there should be other values, but I can’t find them.

How can I alter the readout range visible on the screen? For example I have a 24 hours log which I want to see as one image?
Thanks.

You’ll see the sample rate on the screen in the top right corner.
The sample rate changes when the Time/Div. setting is changed.

The maximum sample interval (10 seconds/sample) is on the 1000s/div range.

It is not possible to display 24h record on a single screen.

 • You have to select the File menu option AutoSave Data to save the data to file.
 • Click Run button to start the recording.
 • When complete, click the Run button up to close the recording.
 • Now you can use File menu option Open Data to open the file.
 • You can use the arrow buttons next to the horizontal scroll bar to browse the data.

can the pcs10 be used a a live recorder

ie a computer program can read the voltages via usb

what is the fastest frequency you can read the device ?

how long does it take to read ?
what is the fastest frequency you can read the device ?
The maximum sample rate of the PCS10 is 100 samples per second (the maximum sampling frequency is 100Hz)
The maximum theoretical input frequency to record is 50Hz.
All the higher frequencies will alias to frequencies below half the sampling rate.
