Hello ( It’s not really a new topic )
I bought a PCS 500 some years ago and it worked well, up to the crash of my old laptop with 25 pins parallel port. I recently bought a new laptop without parallel port, but I got an adaptater from Delock, an Express card to1xparallel DB 25 port ( product 66215 ), and I try to use it with my new laptop.
I tried with Pclab 2000 and Pclab 2000 Se, and with the 3 LPT devices ( 378, 278, 3BC ), With Disable LPT plug and play or not, It is always the same answer : No hardware response.
The red LED is always on when I click OK . I use windows 7. Parallel port is LPT3.
When I click Help, the answer is Access violation at adress 0000000. Read of address 00000000.

You have to use the Device Manager and check the I/O address of the LPT port.
Then you have to enter the LPT port address to the text box on the startup screen of the PCLab2000SE.
Just click the ‘378’ and replace it with correct address.
