PCLab bug - averaging & noise reject

I am using the PCSU1000 USB scope.

Normally, averaging the scope trace (Options --> Average) works as intended.

However, once I select trigger noise reject (Options --> Trigger Options --> Noise Reject), the trace no longer gets averaged (even though averaging is still selected when I check).

When I turn off noise reject again, the curve gets averaged again.

Bug or feature?

Wolfgang

It seems that you have the previous version of the software. Please download the version 3.05 from the Downloas site: velleman.be/be/en/download/files/

The modifications compared to previous version are:
Version 3.05, released 22/11/2007 -> Update for PCSU1000 and PCS500:

  • History waveform display added. Allows you to review up to 1000 previously acquired waveforms.
  • Average mode works now with Noise Reject and 1GS/s sampling.
    Update for PCS500 only:
  • Average mode added.
That fixed it. I was using the scope on a different computer that had an older version of PCLab on it.

Thanks for the quick response!
