I build your project , insmod pcsgu250.ko and plug the scope ( file /dev/scope1 found with owner root )
when i started the GUI, and choose scope1 a little message tel me “permission not allowed”
An idea perhaps ?

After some test, and read about insmod, I’m blocked by the hardware, when I give myself rights to it,
the error message become, hardware busy
So wihtout rights RW, the owner is root & permission not permitted
withe rights, the owner also for root or user give hardware busy
I attached a log file, if it can help to give a solution
Or maybe a group dialout style or plugdev to learn?
