Run anyway?
I am receiving this message not only after closing the PCLab2000SE and starting the application again, but also after restaring the PC.
Is it normal?
That is not normal. The message appears only if a second instance of the program is tried to start or if the program was previously abnormally terminated (e.g. using the “End Process” or “End Task” of the Task Manager).
In both cases there is a line “Running=1” in the WinDso.ini. This indicates to the next starting program that the previous program is either running or abnormally terminated.
There is also “Running=1” if the oscilloscope software is running in the background. Use the Task Manager to check that this is not the case.
Please check the WinDso.ini in the folder: C:\Program Files\Velleman\PC-Lab2000SE
When the scope program is not running there should be :
[Status]
Running=0
You may delete the WinDso.ini and check if the message stops to appear. After deleting the WinDso.ini the oscilloscope runs self calibration at the next startup.
