Multiple units to run

Is it possible to run more then one PCS10 or scopes on USB with PCLAB2000SE 4.03 at the same time. The are then multiple logger screens op and active.

Sorry, it is not possible to use more than one PCS10 unit in one PC.
You can use other oscilloscope e.g. PCSU1000 at the same time with the PCS10.

“Sorry, it is not possible to use more than one PCS10 unit in one PC.”

That is unfortunate.
Is this because of an inability to differentiate connected unit IDs (no unique ID in the box), or the driver?

The PIC chip does have EEPROM on board that you could use to store a unique device ID, so you could share the USB driver with multiple attached units. Just like one can have multiple web cams or tuner cards.
Having the ability to run multiple units running concurrently gives you a more useful product.
How else can one create an 8 channel analog scope for under $800 USD?

Hard coded PID and VID are used.
The PCS10 is made using the PIC16C745. It doesn’t even have EEPROM…

OK.
The PSGU250 uses a 18LF14K, which DOES have EEPROM.
I assume that your other scope products may have EEPROM as well, so in theory, they could be updated with code that does provide unique IDs, presumably with a ‘program vid’ option in an update tool.
e.g. “Please enter device serial number”.
So at least SOME of your products could be made to run as multiples.

Just a suggestion to help you sell more units…

Thank you for this suggestion.
In the future products this kind of “addressing” looks interesting…
