MK194 scratched PCB

Hi all,

I’m a noob I’m afraid, and have chosen to assemble a MK194 fm radio kit as my entry level project.

I’ve just excitedly unboxed my product and have noticed a large scratch across the PCB that exposes a track of copper cross sectioning a couple of lanes.

Is this scratch going to cause me any issues such as shorts or lack of connectivity?

Hope this helps - the scratch is running alongside the IC1 seating.

Hi,

it looks like it will still work but be carefull other pads wont make contact with the naked copper
