MK180 - presales information

Hello all,

i’m interested in the new minikit MK180. But, I have 2 questions that I like to be answered before buying it.

  1. In the information sheet, there is stated that a hi-power led (6-square shaped model) can be attached instead of the included 4 leds.
Can this kind of let be connected directly to the output or do I need some resistors? Or does it mean that the included leds can be replaced (like with cable extensions to the solding points on the print)? I would like to connect 1 hi-power (again the 6-square shaped model) led on each channel.

  2. What are the flash patterns? Along with the more flashier patterns, I would be happy with a simple steady on-of (like a car-flasher).

Thanks for the reply!

You need current limiting resistors.
Flash patterns are not documented. Simple on/off flashing is available.

Ok,

this module is just perfect. Realy bright flashes.
Just one more question. Can I build another pair of led boards as they are provided with the kit and place them in parallel with the originals? It’s my intension to have 4 flashing points.

Thanks again!

That should not be a problem.
Outputs are rated at 3A
