MK161 - Not sure what is wrong. Need help!

I just finished assembling the MK161 kit and plugged it in to a 12V 2 amp plug. When i do this, LD1 starts flashing dimly and doesn’t stop until I unplug. Pressing the prog button doesn’t seem to have any effect. I tried using my MK162 remote on it, but no responses.

Anyone have a clue?

The MK162 does have different channels.
If the MK161 is assembled right you may need to use the procedure in the download below.
