Mk139 problem

I have assembled the kit.
Pulse mode works fine, but in toggle mode when I clap, the light turns on and I cant turn it off by clapping again. Led diode that indicates clapping is also on (I think that is wrong).
I figured out that both led diodes are on when the relay is on.

I will go crazy, such a simple kit and it gives me so much trouble!!!

Check your power supply. Apparantly, the problem happens when the relay is on, so when the unit is drawing max. current. Clap led should be off when there is no noise.

Is there something specific I could check???
Can this be caused by IC2 or IC1 malfunctioning!!!

Highly unlikely that either IC is at the cause of this problem, as pulse mode works fine. Check power supply. Make sure it delivers 12VDC.
Test with nothing connected to relay output.

I bought the kit again and assembled it, I still have the same problem!!!

I tried removing the output from the relay but the problem is still there!!!

Do you have any more ideas???

If assembled and used correctly, kit works fine.
Check your assembly, check orientation of components such as diodes, elco’s etc… Check voltages from 5 and 8V regulators.
Check solderings for forgotten solderings, bad solderings, touching solderings etc…
We can offer inspection and repair if you return the kit to the address you can find in the manual.
