Hello,
Are the adjacent solder pads for R5 and C10 connected by a trace? I tried removing a solder bridge, and cannot remove the solder between the two pads after multiple attempts. I have re-soldered both pads, and they bridged again. On the schematic, R5 and C10 both appear to be connected to +V (newbie here learning to read schematics).

I sure hope so. I’ve tried about everything to remove the plating of solder left between the pads. This is my first kit so I hope it doesn’t go up in smoke. I’m afraid to try to scrape the solder away, and ruin the board.
It works! Very neat kit. I accidentally skipped a step, so de-soldered and removed some capacitors to make access easier for soldering on the mics. When re-inserting the capacitors through their holes, all the solder pads partially detached from the board. So after soldering the capacitors back on, they wiggle as the solder pads are loose and only held by a hinge to the trace (I think?). I suppose I will try super glue or hot glue to protect them? Top and bottom?

Make sure to fix them otherwise the board will stop working due to intermittent contacts.
i would love to know what the solution to this is. im having a hard time interpreting the solution.
was there a bridge between R5 and C10 or not? is it supposed to be there? i sure doesnt look like it should be there from the schematic.
the solder pads ARE touching. i can cut them apart if i have to…
anyone have a clue?

R5 and C10 are connect to the +V, so yes, there should be a bridge.
