MK125 - Opposite effect

HELP! I am trying an experiment and I need my mk125 to work adversely, where as the LED would come on when the photoelectric sensor (LDR) is exposed to light. Any ideas?

THANKS

Sorry. Can you tell me what a “comparator” is? And where is this diagram. Are you refering to the schematic that came with your product. Bear with me, I am learning. And if my experiment goes as planned I will be buying lots of your products. Thanks for your time.

Swap pin 12 and pin 13. See diagram supplied with kit

Works like a charm. Thanks a million.

Can you explain how I am supposed to swap pin 12 and pin 13 on the comparitor? Am I supposed to snip off pins and solder wires or is there an easier way to do this?

Probably easier to modify PCB at solderside.

OK maybe my problem is that what I think is 12 and 13 isn’t really 12 and 13. Can someone show me the pin layout for the IC? I found what I think is the correct pin layout here: ee.latrobe.edu.au/internal/w … /LM324.pdf and if that’s correct then I’ve swapped the correct pins but it isn’t behaving correctly. I tried reversing the polarity of D2 and removing it, all with the same result: the trimmer acts like an on off switch but the LDR does not respond to light.
