I’ve carefully built the kit but the when I connect the battery I hear a click then the wheel spins silently gradually increasing to a rapid rate and after a short time at the rapid rate it repeats this cycle.
Pressing the “Start” switch at any time forces a gradual slow-down to stop on an led sound being heard all the time including the winner tone whilst the led is held for a short while; then the soundless cycle described in the first sentence recurs…
