After soldering the MK117, only one of the three alternating flashing parts is working properly. The other two seem to be stuck in one position (some LEDs continuously on, some continuously off). Any ideas about suspect transistors, capacitors, connections? A circuit scheme would be handy.
Most likely assembly error (LED orientation or soldering error). Diagram has been mailed to your address.
Thanks for the quick reaction!
Hello!
In our school we have buildt 22 XMAS TREE MK117, the most of them
did not work ok, we have checked soldering and direction of the LEDs,
now we need a circutdiagram for trobleshouting.
Diagram has been mailed to your address.
Maybe there was somthing wrong with transmission, i have not received
any circut diagram over Mk117.
I have an alternativ address. stig.trosell@telia.com
i to have a problem with mk117 only bottom leds come on
Hereby a link to the diagram.
This will allow you to troubleshoot your kit:

Is there a higher resolution version of the circuit diagram we refer to? The writing in it is barely visible once zoomed in…
It is a .wmf file, so resolution is not an issue.
Most likely, you are using an incompatible viewer.
Try importing it into e.g. Word.
