I have increased the voltage for this project to 9 volts as I am using ultra bright LEDs in place of the originals. As a result the sensitivity is far too high (full scale at around 70dB). I need to reduce the sensitivity drastically so that it works at around 100 to 110dB. Should I change R1 and if so what would be a good value to try? Would it be better to change an alternative component?
hi i am in need of help. how do you measure the decibel range of the pocket vu meter? does anyone know the range of it? am doing a school project. lastly how many decibel does it take to light up one LED and so on? really need help.
looking forward to the respond.
