MK111 timer problem

I am having a problem with this kit. When I connect the battery, the LED lights up and then switches off after a few seconds, with the click of the relay. However, it does not then switch back on. I can adjust the pulse to alter the amount of time the LED stays on, but the pause potentiometer does not seem to make any difference. Any ideas?

Thanks,

I’m 98% sure, there is must be a false solderjoint (contact) in the “PAUSE” part of the circuit.

Thanks for the reply - yes you were right, it looked ok, but unsoldering a joint and resoldering worked a treat. Thanks!

Should there be current through the three connectors - I am not getting any voltage showing? Another dry joint?

No, there is no voltage comming out, the output is just a “dry-contact” (just like a switch).

Ok - so where do I wire the connections for a bulb that I want to flash on and off?

Check the MK125 manual.
It has the exact same output as the MK111 and it shows you how to connect a lightbulb.

Brilliant! Easy when you know how! Thanks.
