I put the kit together and put 9v to it. It was already counting before I hit the button. I press the button and all the lights blink fast. I release and it slows the number but never stops. I checked and double checked all solder joints and part orientation. All good. Do I have bad parts?
Just finished on the 2nd kit I have and does the same thing. It will not stop counting. Please help!
Can you link to sharp and hi-res pics of both component and solderside of your assembly, so that we can take a look?
Only had my camera on my phone. Sorry for the poor pictures. Please find something stupid I did. I know Im not the best at soldering but all my joints look good. I even went back on one kit and hit each joint again. Still no change.

Links do not seem to work…
Looks like you do not use the original battery holder?
Are you running this kit from a battery?
Did you try with a 9V battery?
Im running it from a regulated DC power supply. Did not try with a 9V batt since that is not how it will be used.
Check with 9V battery if problem is power supply related.
Hooked up the battery holder that came with the kit. Slapped a 9V batt in and does the same thing. What now?
Sorry, no experience with this problem.
