I bought this kit to turn my third brake light into a kitt car setup. I have basic understanding of electronics but for micro timers, etc i dont. So what i’m asking is what should i need for this kit to work to work to make a third brake light into the kitt car setup? (ref: youtube.com/watch?v=11z_lkQMtgA) also i know this kit is 9v, so i think i have to convert it to 12v? or something

Info:
12v source (13.4v i think)
Needing to use only 6 leds not 8 but if needed i’ll use all 8.
I want to convert to the BIG leds, not the small ones provided if possible.

Kit works fine in a car (12V).
You can replace the led’s with bigger red ones, without changing anything to the board.

Please not that such a brake light might be illegal.

Sounds good. Id just have to jump the switch an place the 12v line in place of the 9v carrier?
Also i didnt assemble the kit yet, but this kit already can do what the eye scanner back an forth motion in one setting? Just like the link i provided?

It might be a better idea to get the MK173 instead of the MK107, as it does not require you to press a switch every time it is powered.
You cannot jump the switch, it won’t work that way. Furthermore, the MK107 does not change direction.
