Hi there, new to all this but here goes.
I bought the MK107 to drive an enlarging circle of LED’s rings for a school project 4 my daughter and her christmas play
IE
o/p 1 - 7 LED’s
o/p 2 - 9 LED’s
o/p 3 - 12 LED’s
o/p 4 - 16 LED’s
o/p 5 - 21 LED’s
o/p 6 - 27 LED’s
o/p 7 - 34 LED’s
o/p 8 - 42 LED’s
Can anyone in very simple terms, tell how I can switch this many LED’s using a transistor. The effect that is required goes something like this
ring 1 off - 2-8 ON [color=#0000FF]1[/color] [color=#FF0000]2 3 4 5 6 7 8[/color]
ring 2 off - 1 , 3-8 ON [color=#FF0000]1[/color] [color=#0000FF]2[/color] [color=#FF0000]3 4 5 6 7 8[/color]
ring 3 off - 1-2 , 4-8 ON [color=#FF0000]1 2[/color] [color=#0000FF]3[/color] [color=#FF0000]4 5 6 7 8[/color]
ring 4 off - 1-3 , 5-8 ON [color=#FF0000]1 2 3[/color] [color=#0000FF]4[/color] [color=#FF0000]5 6 7 8[/color]
ETC through to output 8
I believe it might be a PNP transistor from what I have read but dont have a clue how to wire or work out what to use
