hello, great support guys. i recently bought this kit, just wondering is there any way to drive this mk 138 from 5v?
You will need at least 6V and you will have to replace the relay with a 6V type.
thanks for the quick replay, only powersupply i can think of(where the mk138) is usb, can i use any regulator or anything to make it 6v?
If you lower the zener diode to e.g. 4V3 and you can find a 5V relay,then you could run it from a USB supply.
6V relay will most likely not work.
