Good afternoon,
I’ve an HPS10 scope and I’ve noticed that with reference to a constant input signal, the voltage value measured and showed into the " Measurement read out" field is linked to the selected voltage per division and it’s a little different also when the input signal doesn’t change.
For example a DC input signal, measured with the DVM1090 DMM (20 V range) as 14,95, has been measured with the HPS10 (X10 probe setup and V readout) with the following result:
14,52 V (4V/div) ; 13,62 V (8V/div) and 10,24 V (20V/div).
Although I’m aware that the main objective of a digital scope is to show the shape of the input signal, since the indicated values are “a little” different please let’ me know what is the right value to be kept as “real one” and if this kind of readout is normal.
Thank you in advance for the collaboration .
