I have bought 7 of this kit I have most of them built. I have found that the pins have bent on the transformer when in the packing. I have 2 kits that the pins were very badly bent on the transformers that they snaped off when I tryed to straten them. one is ok as it was a pin that was not been used and the other one is no good as it the mains side and it the 0v pin that gone.
I feel that there should have been some of the spung on the transformer to protect the pins.

Altough we did not received any complaints, we will look into this.
I also forgot to ask is the transformer “standerd” as in the pin layout of the transformer as I am short one that one of the pins have come off.
If the transformer is not standerd where can I get one from.

I feel it more to do with the way the tramsformers are been packed in to the box. The pins are sticking in the paper and if it get a small bang with the wight of the transformer the pins bend. The pins of the transformer should be protected in ISOMO.
I will not be returning the transformer as it will cost the same price of the kit to post to back to Belgium. I also feel that support do not believe me. I do not have the pin of the transformer that snaped off when I tryed to straten it as left it aside and went on building the rest of the kits I had.
I am also planning to buy more of these kits as I can get them cheeper than posting the transformer back, when I buy the qty of 7 or more.
