Dont know if this is the proper way, but here it is anyway. I built the kit k8094, worked just fine for 2 days testing and recording. Wanted it connected it to a velleman pir 416 today so a presence would activate the playback, Checked the possibility with my reseller and he assured me it would be allright. Since the connection however playback and recording don’t work. Pressing sw3, sw4 and sw5 (externally) still makes the red led blink twice but thats about it. Kit is meant to be installed at a museum opening tomorrow! kit is nowhere in stock so im at a loss. im very very open for suggestions!
Not sure how you have connected the pir, but somehow it must either have caused a mechanical problem (loose soldering, loose track or pad, bad contact, etc…) or the IC has been destroyed due to static or overvoltage.
Hopefully the problem is of a mechanical nature.
