Setup: k8064
standard 75Watt incandescent flood light (tried a couple different types, same results)
5v signal (also tried 12v)
LEDs show no errors
capacitor setup for proper voltage
all caps, diodes, led, ICs, were double checked to make sure they were mounted properly
Problem: it flickers constantly and randomly during the setup process while adjusting BOTH rv1 and rv2
when i try to light or dim the lamp it only flickers randomly
you can also hear a buzzing noise while the lamp flickers
Basically: the unit seems to have only 2 modes: off and flicker randomly
I will post within a couple days when i have a bit of time, its not too urgent at the moment.
I assembled 2 more of them today that work perfectly which is strange.
another interesting thing is with the broken unit, the indicator LEDs dont blink quite as bright as the LEDs on the working units. They seem to start out blinking a little bit dim and then the green LED gets a little brighter if you leave it plugged in for maybe 20 seconds.
but yes i will post pictures of the broken unit, hopefully tomorrow
