possibly, but did you set the bias?!

I set the bias as per the manual and left it to settle - what other components could have been damaged by the burnt out resistors R4, R16, & R17 please?
Also - you say that the transformer could be at fault - is this the only area or could it be an input level issue - any help is welcome

Hello,
Probably most of the transistors on your board are damaged; like also some resistors. you will have to measure the 5W resistors and other resistors that seem suspecious.
I suspect you used the amplifier without proper(fixed?) heat-sink or with a too high supply voltage.
Did you adjust the bias with speakers attached?
