hi,

i built the k8060 kit and hooked it to 2 8 ohm speakers in parallel. now i get a good and clear sound without distortion which unfortunately cuts off around 1.5 kHz. nice 12db slope as far as i can see. (i put white noise in the amp and analysed the output recording). i hooked up a voltage divider before the input as volume control. the rest is all original kit. do you have any idea what could make a filter in this scenario? i do not really know a lot about filters and i do not have the equipment to check at which point on the pcb the voltage drops. thanks for any input!

Most likely a wrong capacitor or resistor value somewhere in the circuit.
Almost impossible to troubleshoot without being able to examine your assembly.
