K8055 DC Motor Problem

Hello ,

I have a problem with the K8055!

I want to have a DC motor right and left turn.

But DC motor rotate only one direction.

How can I find solving these problems?

You can use H-bridge circuit for the DC-motor.
Here is an example how to do it:

Warning: Never turn O1 and O2 outputs on (low) simultaneously!

Sorry if i ask something stupid,

  1. I have the same kind of problem, what kind of transistor can be used for Q1 and Q2.
  2. Can the batt as shown in your example be 12v or must it be limited to 5v.
  3. Can this kind of H-bridge be used for somewhat larger 1.5Amp DC motors, or is it better to work via relais?

For my project i need 3 motors to be able to run in both directions?

So Motor 1 left/right, so for motor 2 and 3

Or any other solution?

You can use this circuit only for low current DC motors.

There is a lot of transistors available for this current (e.g. 2N2907A).

Thanks for your input.

I’m building a ROV and use only Velleman modules/kits. Will let you know when the projects is finished.
